Choose a format for where the data goes next

Choose XLSX to hand someone a workbook. Choose CSV for a flat table that will go into another app. Choose JSON or JSON Lines when a script expects records.

The converter carries over cell values. Keep the original workbook if you need formulas, formatting, or macros, and check the first row before exporting to a format that uses column names.
